Grosse Pointe Woods, MI - Sofie Ancona was named 2024 Miss Hockey, a prestigious accolade recognizing the top female high school hockey player in Michigan. Ancona, a standout forward from University Liggett School, has captured attention with her remarkable performance in the 2023-2024 Michigan Girls High School Hockey League (MGHSHL) season.

Ancona's season statistics are nothing short of extraordinary, boasting 48 goals and 25 assists in 25 games. Her contribution has been pivotal in leading her team through a series of challenging matchups and into the spotlight of Michigan high school hockey.
