Coach Fran's Bio
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Fran Weissinger has been around the game of hockey for 35+ years as a player, official and coach.
Upon moving to Ann Arbor in 2001, Fran has been a goalie coach, assistant coach and head coach for many local teams, including Victory Honda AAA, the Ann Arbor Wolves and the Ann Arbor Cougars, leading the latter to back to back State Championships in 2020 & 2021.
He also served as an assistant coach for the “other” women’s High School program in Ann Arbor.
This will be his first season with PWICE.
